Ah. Great band. Great times playing mostly at the resorts on Priest Lake in North Idaho with occasional stops in Spokane, WA., Walla Walla, WA. and Sandpoint, ID.
While this trio was a powerhouse of musical and vocal talent, Mike Wagoner could also be found performing as a solo artist, as a duo with Jack (Jaco) Purdy and as a duo with me that we loosely dubbed Mike & Mike. It was such a joy to be able to perform with this trio and as a duo with Mike as I accompanied him on my stand up kit and added percussion and harmonies to his versatile vocal style and tremendous range.
I’ve got a lot of video tapes to sift through. So, for now here are some songs from the Mike & Mike duo recorded at Elkin’s Resort on Priest Lake. I haven’t “publicized” this site yet, so if you’ve stumbled onto it or I directed you here then all I can say is, I’m working on it!
