The DeVilles

Approx 1997 – 2000: The DeVilles was a fun, 4-piece, classic-rock band put together by my good friend Rick Steiner. He owned Sandpoint Music at the time and knew all the guys individually though none of us knew each other.
For me this band represented a huge step forward in my skills as a drummer and singer. The level of musicianship and the songs we managed to perform demanded that each of us study our parts (practice) before coming together for band “rehearsal.” It was incredibly satisfying. I sang lead on several songs (including Bodhisattva by Steely Dan and Money for Nothing by Dire Straits) and harmony on most of the others.
